Twitter updates

While working all of our social media profiles we came across the option within Twitter to cross pollinate onto Facebook.

What a fantastic idea everything we wrote on one platform was copied straight to the other.

However under investigation it would seem that Tweets that are copied to Facebook do not reach anywhere near as many users as a standard Facebook status.

We carried out a few tests and the results indicated that standard Facebook statuses reached on average 50 users compared to the 1-2 users the cross pollinated Tweets reached.

Lessons learnt we disconnected the cross pollinate option and returned to Tweeting and Facebooking independently.
