Direct Selling V's PAYE Employment

Often when your involved in Direct Selling and your under taking the task of prospecting you will meet people who are negative towards direct selling.

Common Responses are:

  1. Thats not a proper job
  2. It's that Pyramid Selling thing
  3. You have to buy a warehouse full of stock

Thats not a proper job

To those who consider it not to be a proper job yes you are correct it does not have some of the same actions as a PAYE job.

However if you where offered a job that:
  • Had uncapped income potential
  • Allowed you to work the hours that suit you
  • Allowed you to take time off when your kids are sick
  • Allowed you to reduce Childcare fees by being at home more
  • Gave you fantastic recognition for your hard work
  • Took away the fear of redundancy
  • Paid you yearly bonuses
  • Allowed you to retire when you wanted to stop working
  • Allowed your hard work to be willable

Would you take the PAYE approach or Direct Selling?

The Direct Selling Association (DSA) are very keen to get people back into work if they have had the unfortunate position of being made redundant.

Recently Bob Parker Managing Director of Forever Living met with UK government to discuss Direct Selling Opportunity's

Bob Parker - House of Commons lunch:

It's that Pyramid Selling thing

Pyramid selling is illegal and no current Multi Level Marketing / Direct selling company operates that way.

A Pyramid scheme is an unsuitable business model that involves promising participants payment or services, primarily for enrolling other people into the scheme, rather than supplying any real investment or sale of products or services to the public.

You have to buy a warehouse full of stock

Within our business you do not have to buy any stock unless you want to.
